The National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health (NEBOSH) is a UK-based independent examination board delivering vocational qualifications in health, safety & environmental practice and management.

The NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) offers comprehensive understanding of occupational health and safety principles and practices. The course is specifically designed for managers, supervisors and employee representatives to help manage risks more effectively. NEBOSH IGC focuses on international standards and management systems, enabling candidates in any industrial sector to efficiently execute workplace health and safety responsibilities.

As per the UAE law all safety engineers should have the NEBOSH IGC to work in construction and oil and gas companies.
This course covers the Health & Safety Environment Principles and Practices essential in the workplace. These include:

• Understanding risk assessments and control strategies.
• Applying the control strategies to a number of common workplace hazards, including fire, electrical, transport and manual handling.

• 80 Hours (Flexible Schedules)
• Regular Sessions: 3 Months
• Fast Track Sessions : 10 to 12 Days

• Regular Sessions:3-4 Hours per Session) for 3 months. Classes are offered on Weekdays or Weekends (Friday / Saturday). Weekdays Schedules are from 10.00 am to 2.00 pm or 2.00 to 6.00 or 9.00 pm.
• Fast Track Sessions:6-8 Hours per day for 10 to 12 Days with Coffee & Lunch Breaks.

• Certified Health & Safety Environment Professional from Laurels Training Institute, Attested by Knowledge & Human Development Authority (KHDA) government of Dubai, UAE. Emergency First Aid at Work Certification (Optional)
• HSE Risk Management Certification (Optional)
• NEBOSH Certification upon passing the examination held in March, June, September or December annually.
